All Saint's Day 2023

A year and a half ago, on May 13, 2022, I wrote a long blog post about our adventures trying to start an east coast coffin shop. The impetus for the post was a building that had gone up for sale across the street from our parish and Marian Caskets’ attempt to purchase it. Amidst the post I included this picture:

Shop across the street, awaiting transformation

Marian Caskets was not able to make the purchase, but I would like to thank everyone who helped us, with their prayers and financial contributions, to try. And, over the course of this month in which we remember the faithful departed I will share with you how things have lined up in more wondrous ways than we could ever have plotted ourselves.

Larry Chapp's Blog Post - Recorded!

I Blossom On The Grave Of The God Who Died For Me: Evangelization In An Age Of Unbelief

When Larry Chapp writes a long blog post I find myself wishing I could listen to it while I work. He published his longest post so far last week and it took me a little while to get to it; in case there was anyone else out there who shared my desire to multitask I pressed record and read it out loud. Please pardon my French… my Latin… my German… my Russian, etc.
